Milton Keynes man charged with grevious bodily harm

A Bletchley man has been charged in connection with an incident of grievous bodily harm.

Peter Hance, aged 35, of Mellish Court, Bletchley, was charged on Friday with one count of Section 18 – wounding with intent, one count of possession of a knife in a public place and one count of attempted theft.

The charges relate to an incident at a laundrette in Melrose Avenue, Bletchley, last Thursday when there was an attempt to steal money from washing machines and a man sustained stab injuries.

The victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries where he currently remains.

Hance was also charged with two counts of theft relating to incidents in May when money was stolen from the same laundrette.

Hance will appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 4 July.
