Milton Keynes man stabbed partner 28 times and left her to die

A Bletchley man has been jailed for life for stabbing his partner 28 times with a screwdriver and then leaving her die.

Joanne Bishop, 39, was found in May bleeding and in a critical condition outside her home in Brent, Tinkers Bridge.

She died four days later in hospital.

Her partner Shane Clarke, 51, from Buckingham Road, was arrested and charged with murder.

Today he appeared in court and was given a life sentence for the “frenzied attack”.

Friends of Joanne say she was a a “beautiful empathic soul” who was always happy to help anybody in need.

They added: “She was a lovely friend and will be remembered forever in our hearts until we meet again.”
