It’s a special year in Milton Keynes, and to mark the occasion, this year’s MK Midnight Moo is inviting the men around town to put their best feet forward and get involved.

The annual 10 mile walk across redways in Milton Keynes is traditionally a ladies-only affair.

But, with a nod to the #MK50 celebrations, organisers are allowing 50 places to be taken by fellas.

Men signing up for one of the special Gold Bond places will be required to raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship.

“This is a great opportunity to be a part of a really special night,” said Sarah Sweet Rowley, events manager at Willen Hospice.

“Many thanks to four men who are the first to have registered their places, Keith, Paul, Stuart and Nick.

“MK Midnight Moo is our biggest event of the year and we are really excited to join the MK 50 celebrations into the event,” she added.

Monies raised will support the end-of-life care provided by the hospice.

The date of this year’s Moo is Saturday July 15,with participants starting and finishing at the intu shopping centre.
