The video centres around a young girl who stumbles upon the museum and a wonderland of exciting objects and exhibits to explore.

One of the museum’s biggest draws for visitors is that they are encouraged to touch and try out everything from Victorian parlour games to complex communication equipment.

Milton Keynes Museum, which is a registered charity and relies on the hard work of volunteers, is looking to have its busiest summer yet and is hoping the video will capture the imagination of children and families who will shortly be breaking up from school.

The promo was put together by local creative film company Wise Guys and the talented actress Emily Corlett is part of Newport Pagnell’s Diamond Theatre School.

MK Museum Director, Bill Griffiths said: “We’re thrilled by the way Wise Guys have captured what we are about – hands-on history.

“We hope the film will encourage more ‘Emilys’ to come and see all that we have to offer for themselves.”
