Milton Keynes music fans urged to visit Barnardo's for festival fashions

Festival-goers in Milton Keynes are being encouraged to head down to their local Barnardo's shop to snap up their festival essentials in anticipation of this summer's line up.

Ahead of this weekend’s Togfest all music festival in Milton Keynes, festival goers with an eye for a bargain can pick up quality one-offs at a fraction of the price to make the perfect festival wardrobe.

“We all know that the weather can be really unpredictable at summer festivals in this country. Festival goers want to look good but don’t necessarily want to pay high street prices for an outfit that might get spoilt by mud and rain,” said Area business manager to Barnardo’s, Brian Gibson.

“If you’re looking to get the latest festival must-haves, there’s nowhere better than your local Barnardo’s shop to pick up a bargain. With most items being unique, once they’re gone, they’re gone!”

“All profits from items sold in our shops are used to help vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people who live locally so it’s really worth a visit,” he added.

At this time of year, Barnardo’s shops stock clothes that are the ideal summer festival survival kit – be it shorts and slouchy jumpers for dancing under the sun or wellies and lined jackets for flaunting style credentials in wet weather. Barnardo’s shops also stock eye-catching pieces of statement jewellery, scarves and sunglasses to compliment any summer outfit.

Barnardo’s stores in Milton Keynes can be found at the Oldbrook Shopping Park, the Oxley Park Local Centre, the Willen Local Centre and the Great Linford Local Centre.
