A league table of the most adulterous towns in Britain claims there are 722 people in Milton Keynes having an affair.
The figure – which equates to 0.42 per cent of the town’s population – puts MK in a paltry (or admirable) 118th out of 140 locations, according to IllicitEncounters.com, a ‘married dating’ website which has mapped where its 985,000 UK members live.
By comparison Beeston in Nottinghamshire is the most unfaithful town in the UK, where people are six times more likely to have an affair, or 2.54 per cent of residents.
