On 11 September 2014, the vehicle Coles was driving was involved in a collision on the H9 Groveway in Milton Keynes at the junction with Simpson Drive.

Eric Coles’ wife, June, 84, died as a result of the collision.

He pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Crown Court yesterday to the charge.
