It is claimed the PC Phakey was in charge of an investigation into shoplifting and failed to bag up all the exhibits and book them into the police property store.

A month later two sergeants searched his locker at MK police station and found some of the seized property, states the hearing report.

“It is alleged that PC Phakey failed to act with honesty and integrity,” it adds.

The hearing is due to conclude today (Thursday).
