Milton Keynes to reach new heights with planned development

Milton Keynes isn't just getting bigger - plans announced for a new development in Midsummer Boulevard will see it getting taller too.

The new building, which could be up to 100ft tall, wil be part of a one and a half acre site development.

It will be an office led, mixed-use scheme, also set to feature a skyline restaurant, apartments for rent and ground level public realm and amenities.

Milton Keynes Development Partnership has chosen Sterling Property Ventures as its development partner for the major new scheme.

“Sterling’s track record for delivering market leading city centre developments, combined with their exciting and innovative design concepts, made them the best team to meet MK’s needs and aspirations as a regional centre,” said MKDP’s chief executive, Charles Macdonald.

“Their development activity in Birmingham provides a thrilling insight into what could be delivered in Milton Keynes and we welcome the opportunity to work closely with them to deliver an outstanding scheme.”

James Howarth, Sterling Property Ventures’ managing director, said: “We are very excited to be working with MKDP to deliver a scheme which will help Milton Keynes continue to expand as a key employment location, making the most of its communication links and status as the fastest growing city in the UK.”
