Milton Keynes resident listed as finalist for most embarrassing school photo

Clothing brand Banana Moon Clothing challenged the people of the UK to face their fears and share their most cringeworthy school photographs in order to find the UK’s funniest images.

The entries are enough to make you wince with second-hand shame, but it was Glasgow resident Debra Johnson’s mullet and voluminous fringe that won her the top spot.

Competition finalists included Lynn from Milton Keynes, with her 70’s paisley shirt.

Alex Grace, managing director at Banana Moon Clothing, said: “As a supplier of school uniforms, we’ve seen how uniforms have changed over the years and decided to uncover some of the funniest school photographs that have been taken over the decades.

“We had some fantastic entrants who really embraced the hilarity of school photos.

“It was a close call, but we chose Debra as our winner for her fabulous classic mullet cut.”
