Milton Keynes RSPCA gets a helping paw

The North Bucks branch of the RSPCA has received a welcome £300 boost, courtesy of local veterinary practice Vets4Pets.

The charity will be able to spend the £300 Lifelines voucher on supplies and veterinary treatment at the Milton Keynes Vets4Pets surgery.

Lifelines are a part of Pets at Home’s VIP club programme, which also includes Vets4Pets national network of veterinary practices. Lifelines work just like other rewards points, except that instead of the customer spending their accumulated rewards on themselves, Lifelines are donated to an animal charity or rehoming centre.

“Since we launched Lifelines in 2012, VIP club members have donated over £4 million worth of supplies and services to more than 650 animal charities and rehoming centres across the UK,” said Gavin Hawthorn, Head of Customer Relationship Management. “By definition, VIP members are animal lovers, so they really appreciate the opportunity to help less fortunate animals at the same time as they’re caring for their own pets.”

This initial £300 award is just the start. Vets4Pets Milton Keynes will continue to support RSPCA and other Charities with Lifelines in the future.
