Milton Keynes shopping centre shows off its new look

The results of the £10m refurbishment of Sunset Walk has been revealed at centre:mk, one of the UK's top 10 shopping destinations, marking the completion of the first phase of a £50 million investment programme in the shopping centre.

The new premium quarter of centre:mk, includes white Emperador marble flooring, new ceilings and bespoke hexagon pendant lighting. As shoppers enter through the new large glazed entrances to north and south of Sunset Walk, an impressive mesh kite sculpture takes centre stage, created by Locker Group, who specialise in unique architectural mesh design.

Kevin Duffy, Centre Director at centre:mk, says: “We are delighted to reveal our new makeover ahead of what will be a busy Christmas period. These works are only one part of a five-year investment programme for centre:mk and demonstrate our ambitious vision and commitment to maintaining the centre’s status as the region’s leading retail destination. Sunset Walk already has a strong reputation amongst some of the UK’s most highly regarded premium brands, and our plans are set to further increase its appeal.”
