Milton Keynes singer becomes star of BBC comedy show

Brooke Layla, a singer song-writer from Old Stratford is set to star in this week's epsiode of Michael McIntyre's Big Show as the '˜unexpected guest'.

Brooke, 12, who goes to Elizabeth Woodville School, recorded the show in September and sang at the Dury Lane Theatre Royal.

In the run-up for the show, comedian Michael McIntyre went uncover as a fortune teller to surprise Brooke and mum Siobhan to invite her to sing on his show.

In each epsiode of the prime time BBC show, one unsuspecting member of the public gets the surprise of their life when they become the unexpected star.

The episode will also feature Russell Howard, Alexander Armstrong and music from One Republic.

The epsiode will air at 8.10pm on BBC1 this Saturday.
