Milton Keynes skies targeted by Brexit supporters

Britten-Norman, the UK's only independent civil aircraft manufacturer, is firmly in the Brexit camp and is taking its EU referendum message to the skies above Milton Keynes today.

Britten-Norman has been producing aircraft continuously for six decades and has a customer base ranging from short-haul regional airlines through to military and government agencies.

To date the company has produced more than 1,250 aircraft, making it Europe’s most successful aircraft manufacturer.

It is visiting Milton Keynes as part of its ‘Take Control Tour.

Since June 8 the company has been flying around Great Britain in one of its world famous turboprop Islander aircraft. The Islander is painted gold with a Union Flag on its tail, and will be towing a banner with a message to support Vote Leave.
