Liam, who joined insidethegames.biz in January 2015, travelled around the world on a number of assignments since he started working for insidethegames.biz. Last year’s travels included covering the International Olympic Committee Session in Lima, Peru and World Championships in four sports.

He is currently at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.

“It is great to be nominated with so many other young journalists when the standard of entries was so high,” said 25-year-old Morgan.

“I’d like to thank editor Duncan Mackay and managing director Sarah Bowron for allowing me to cover some of the best sporting events in the world.”

“For Liam and me to be nominated for such prestigious awards is a great accolade for insidethegames - a fast-expanding site that I am proud to work for,” Mike said.

Last year insidethegames.biz was voted the winner of the Best in Sports Media at the Sports Business Awards.

“Congratulations to Mike and Liam for their nominations which are fully deserved and come after lots of hard work,” said insidethegames.biz editor Mackay, a former winner of both British Sports Journalist of the Year and British Sports News Reporter.

“It once again highlights that insidethegames is the number one Olympic website in the world.”
