Milton Keynes woman awoke to find male burglar climbing through her bedroom window

A woman woke in the early hours of the morning to discover a man trying to climb through a bedroom window.

The victim, a 37-year-old woman, was asleep in her property in Ulyett Place, Oldbrook, when she was woken by a noise at about 5.10am on Friday.

She went to investigate and saw a man trying to climb through her bedroom window.

The offender saw the victim and fled the scene.

The suspect is white, in his early twenties, with shaved fair hair and clear skin.

He was carrying a large rucksack.

Investigating officer, Det Con Chris Oakman said: “I would appeal to anyone with any information, or anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in Ulyett Place, Oldbrook, on Friday, to contact the police immediately.
