The new complete circuit of the Caldecotte Miniature Railway ground level track has been opened.

The Deputy Mayor, councillor Catriona Morris, came along with her children to carry out the official opening, cut the ribbon and release the first trains onto the line.

Many rides were given and the Deputy Mayor said she thought the railway was a great asset for Milton Keynes. The engine in the picture is called Nutty.

The Caldecotte Miniature Railway is now open from April to October, running every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm, (weather permitting). The railway will also be running some bank holidays and school summer holidays, and there is a timetable on the gate to show exact dates. There is a mixture of steam, diesel and electric trains.
