Conservative leader Edith Bald has accused Labour of “running the council on an overdraft” and failing to get to grips with homelessness.
She has promised better housing, with a possibility of expanding available properties for key workers such as teachers and nurses.
The Tories’ manifesto also includes well-maintained streets and open spaces.
