Labour, Lib Dems and UKIP are all putting up candidates in a bid to topple Mr Stansfeld.
Labour’s Laetisia Carter has worked for TVP as a community liaison officer and promises to prevent the “tidal wave” of worrying cuts.
Lib Dem John Howson is a county councillor, retired university lecturer and business advisor and promises to reduce crime and the fear of crime.
UKIP’s Lea Trainer pledged to be the “straight-talking” voice of the people and bring back bobbies on the beat.

Mr Stansfeld, a former military man, cites improved crime statistics as a good reason to vote him back in again.
