For the fifth year running, the glitzy awards ceremony will show off the crème de la crème of the hospitality industry, with winners voted for by the public.

The prizes up for grabs this year include best restaurant, pub, chef, hotel, cafe and local food and local drink produce in and around Milton Keynes.

And to find the best chef in MK, organisers are holding a live cook-off on April 6.

To find the top three finalists, the skilled cooks will make a starter from a preselected mystery box sponsored by AB Fruits, a main course of their choice and a dessert chosen by the MK College.

The chef will have four weeks to practice and give their interpretation of the dish.

Seven judges will then score the finished plates of food for presentation, taste, flavour, preparation and overall menu choice.
