RISE Early, Be Industrious says the new exhibition opening at MK Gallery tomorrow.
British artist Olivia Plender is presenting a survey exhibition offering the visitor four room-sized installations that present a selection of past projects.
The so-called ‘museum of communications’ focuses on both historical and contemporary forms of communication and education.
Games, world fairs, television and the internet will all be represented.
Plenders’ practice spans pencil drawing to publications and performance to installation.
You’ve plenty of time to pop to the theatre district location and view, as Rise Early, Be Industrious continues through to June 17.
>Next Thursday (April 26) MKT’s Scratch Night session will have a film screening of Life in the Woods, by Olivia, which includes a talk on Neo-Paganism.
Admission is £5, and the film will begin at 6.30pm.
