MK Gallery is preparing for summer.
Staff at the popular city gallery are calling on creative and cultural artists to get in touch to participate in the season of activities next year as part of MK Calling.
The exhibition, which will run between June 28 and September 8 next year, will aim to include work from a variety of artsists from sculptors to poets.
Anthony Spira, MK Gallery’s director, said: “We would like to involve as wide a range of people as possible. If you are a painter, sculptor, poet, singer, sound artist, graphic designer, maybe a baker or hairdresser or involved in any other creative activity, please contact us. There are no restrictions – we want to hear from you.”
All entries from people living in the city will be automatically entered into the MK Coummunity Foundation’s Arts Bursary Award announced at the gallery on September 5 next year with the winner getting a grant for £8,000.
To apply email firstname.lastname@example.org and include a CV and images of your work or if you are a musician or performer attach suitable material. The deadline is March 8 next year.
