Hundreds visited Thrive at MK1 this weekend to have fun getting fit at the free sports event.
The Crown Estate’s nationwide Thrive Summer Series kicked off at the Bletchley shopping park, where shoppers could try their hand at judo, kickboxing, zumba and dance.
Mayor of MK Keith McClean took part in a kickboxing demonstration and packed quite a punch practicing with former world champion Lee Hasdell.
Visitors to the park were put through their paces by local sports and activities clubs including SSJ Dojo Kickboxing led by shootboxing champ Lee Hasdell, Kitsune Gari Judo Club, Zumba MK with Yasmin and a super dance demonstration from the Milton Keynes Dance Centre.
And the Thrive1MileChallenge saw visitors battle it out for the title of fastest cyclist at MK1 – the winning time was shared between two who were clocked at 3 minutes 30 seconds.
Alfie Maynard and Adeolu Edungbola were awarded with a family ticket to an MK Dons home game for their efforts.
Visitors to Thrive can find photos from the event on Twitter @MK1Shopping or on facebook.com/mk1shoppingpark.
