A city charity are preparing to celebrate World Down Syndrome day on March 21.
The event was launched in 2006 to help promote Down Syndrome raise awareness to the public and since then it has gone from strength to strength.
MK Snap are hosting an event on the day that will consist of tea and cakes and a tombola to help them raise money to recognise the condition. They are now calling for people to donate prizes for it.
The charity helps over 110 children who have either learning or physical disabilities with 23 of them having Down Syndrome.
MK SNAP’s event will run between 1.15pm and 3pm at the charity’s Walnut Tree base.
