VISITORS to Lovat Fields village last weekend were there for no ordinary fashion show.

Fifteen volunteers, aged from 15 to their mid-70s who came in all shapes and sizes, took to the catwalk to strut their stuff in front of 150 excited guests to raise much-needed money for charity ExtraCare.

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust enables older people to enjoy a healthier, active and more independent lifestyle in a network of inspirational communities.

The event was hosted by Elaine Boddy, who picked all the outfits for the show and organised the event.

The show was a tremendous success and the satisfied guests showed their appreciation by donating money in excess of £1,100 to the charity.
