A motorcyclist is in a critical condition after colliding with a lamppost yesterday morning.
The rider, a 48-year-old man from Bletchley, suffered serious injuries from the crash on Victoria Road in the town.
He was treated at the scene by Air Ambulance staff and was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital at around 9.40am.
Later he was transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital on Oxford.
PC Steve Leathersich is appealing for witnesses to get in touch.
He said: “We are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or anyone who has seen the red Yamaha in the lead up to the collision.
“I would encourage anyone who has information should call Thames Valley Police on 101.”
