Motorcyclist from Milton Keynes killed in collision

The 31-year-old man was in collision with a black Skoda Octavia, driven by a 62-year-old man from Aylesbury, who was treated for shock.

The accident happened on the A422 Brackley Road at 5.10pm and resulted in the death of the rider of a red/silver Aprilia motorcycle travelling towards Buckingham. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other motorbikes, a white/black MV Augusta F4 and a red Suzuki GSF believed to be in convoy with the Aprilia were also involved with one rider receiving treatment for minor injuries and the other for shock.

Sgt Daniel Collett, who is leading the investigation said: “We are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances which led to this collision and to the sad death of the motorcyclist.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision, who has not yet contacted police.”
