MP MARK Lancaster did the honours at the official opening of the renamed Webber Independent School.

He enjoyed a tour of the school’s refurbished facilities hosted by principal Sue Vig, which included a new state-of-the-art ICT department, a new dedicated learning zone, and larger library with an average of 25 books per child.

Principal Vig said: “We are delighted that Mark managed to find time in his incredibly busy schedule to join us on this momentous occasion and find out more about what we are doing here.”

MP Mark added: “I am delighted to witness the beginning of a new chapter in the proud history of this long-established Milton Keynes school.

“I want to wish all the best to the pupils of Webber Independent, old and new, as well as new principal, Sue Vig.”
