Kents Hill Care Home welcomed a special guest to mark its Care Home Open Day.
MP for Milton Keynes South Iain Stewart was the guest of honour at the event which is designed to show people how care homes can be the centre of their community.
It was held last Friday, June 19 and this year’s theme was art.
Students from local schools were invited to create drawings and paintings that reflected, ‘what care means to you’.
Two pieces of work were chosen and will be on permanent display at the home.
Residents and staff were joined by visitors who tucked into a barbecue and strawberries and cream.
Mr Stewart said he was impressed by the art, adding: “Kents Hill is a happy home with a very high level of care.
“It was a pleasure to come back and see the good work continuing.”
