MPs get a taste of Bow Brickhill's own beer

A new microbrewery based in Bow Brickhill has had its beers on sale in the famous '˜Strangers Bar' in the Houses of Parliament.

Hornes Brewery’s Triple Goat Real Ale was the guest beer in the bar and was tasted by MPs from across the Country.

Milton Keynes South MP Iain Stewart applied for the slot after visiting the brewery just after their launch in March last year.

The beers also went to the very top when Mr Stewart gave the Prime Minster a selection as a Christmas present.

The Hornes family went to London to visit and pour a few pints themselves.

Business founders Ryan and Colette Hornes said: “It was a real privilege to have our beer on as a guest ale in the Houses of Parliament. We hope everyone enjoyed a glass – rumours are even Boris had a pint. It was an absolutely amazing experience and we thank Iain for making it happen.”

Iain Stewart said: “This is the only Micro Brewery in my constituency and what a fantastic story it has. The three goats give the whole brand a fantastic back drop to the great tasting beers. The ale was well received and I am sure some MPs will be going online and ordering some more. I understand from the bar that the beer sold out in record time!”
