The new service will offer women a fundamental choice in how and where their baby is delivered.
It is led by senior midwife Anna-Marie Madeley who said: “Women can come to us directly, access our service in early pregnancy and ensure we understand exactly how they want to give birth at home in an environment that’s safe, familiar and allows labour to progress naturally.”
Fiona West from NHS Milton Keynes, said: “The new team gives women more options about how and where they want to give birth.
“For many women, home is the most comfortable place to have a baby.”
