The report, which was officially published on Wednesday, December 7, recognises the notable improvements that staff have made to the school and highlights that the curriculum is well-designed and provides engaging activities for all. The inspectors describe the school now as “a happy, calm and welcoming place” that “really lives up to its motto: Learning, Love and Laughter.”

Proud headteacher Julie Mickleburgh said: “The staff and governors work exceptionally hard. This latest rating by Ofsted is very well deserved and our pupils rightly take pride in all they do. Our vision at New Chapter Primary School is to prepare each and every child for a lifetime of learning, within an evolving, diverse world, and I am really pleased that Ofsted have recognised the quality of education we are providing for our pupils.”
