In celebration of International Women's Day this week, here are some of the incredible women of Wolverton.
In 1915, workers at McCorquodale printing works went on strike for more than 2 weeks over pay for women.
They eventually succeeded in securing a 7.5% increase in their weekly earnings as ‘war wages’.
