Over 30 swans missing from Mount Farm Lake in Milton Keynes


Police investigating the killing of several swans last month have revealed a further 32 are missing from Mount Farm Lake in Bletchley.

In the first two weeks of April, four swans were discovered dead in Mount Farm Lake by members of the Beacon Angling.

A further 32 swans are also missing from the lake, prompting Bletchley Neighbourhood Policing team to increase its patrols in the area.

The Citizen exclusively revealed the brutal beheading of swans from Mount Farm last month, after heads were found severed by the club’s fisheries officer, Steaven Cooper. For the full story click here.
The team has also been providing reassurance to members of the public as well as gathering information.

Investigating officer, PC Ray Rolfe of the Bletchley Neighbourhood team, said: “I would appeal to any person who has seen anyone or anything suspicious in the area, or with any information about the incidents to call police immediately via 101.
