Overnight fires in Milton Keynes

Firefighters were called out to three fires across Milton Keynes overnight.

At 2.40am they were called to an electrical fire in a plant room in an industrial unit in First Avenue, Bletchley where firefighters used two dry powder extingushers and one jet to control the fire.

Before that, crews from Bletchley and Great Holm attended a small fire in a ground floor flat in Granby Court, Granby at 12.51am where they used a bucket of water and a PPV fan to distinguish the flames.

And earlier in the evening at 10.05pm, there was a kitchen fire in Downdean, Eaglestone, but as the fire was out on arrival, firefighters ventilated the area and gave fire safety advice.
