Pamper day benefits The Henry Allen Trust

The Henry Allen Trust teamed up with Milton Keynes College's in-house salon, The Graduate, last week for a fund-raising event.

Hair and Beauty Live offered salon guests a variety of treatments and the profits were donated to the charity, which raises funds to allow terminally ill children to bring their wishes to life.

Throughout the day the Bletchley-based salon welcomed aorund 150 visitors for haircuts, styling and beauty treatments. A fantastic £920.00 was raised for the Henry Allen Trust.

“We’re delighted to be able to donate this much money and show our support for the Henry Allen Trust in this way,” said salon manager Matt Kemp.

“Throughout the day, all the team at The Graduate worked extremely hard. We’ve always felt great passion for the Henry Allen Trust so to be able to continue supporting Dawn and the team gives us immense pride and satisfaction.”

Dawn Allen, Director and Founder of the Henry Allen Trust, was delighted with the event.

“Team Henry are absolutely blown away!” she said.

“We can’t thank the management, staff and students enough for a truly epic fundraising event. What an amazing difference the funds raised will make to local children and families battling childhood cancer.

“Henry would be super proud of everyone for yesterday and there would have been high 5s all round, especially to those who passed assessments.

“Thank you to everyone involved!”
