Students from the Pauline Quirke Academy will be putting on a special flash mob in Midsummer Place on Sunday as they look to gain new recruits.

They will be putting on a surprise flash mob at some time in the early afternoon but will be in the shopping centre between 11am and 5pm. They will be rotating through hour-long workshops in comedy and drama, musical theatre and film and television to show off their talent and the skills they have learned since joining the Academy – which has a Milton Keynes branch.

There will also be a free prize draw with three exciting prizes on offer; two free taster sessions, a half price summer musical workshop and a half price Easter film workshop, all at PQA Milton Keynes.

PQA is open to children and young people aged between four and 18 years old. Students spend three hours a week perfecting their skills in hour-long sessions in comedy & drama, musical theatre and film & television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers.

The weekend performing arts academy provides tuition for children and young people with locations across the country including one at Oakgrove School, Middleton.
