Pedestrian seriously injured after traffic collision

A pedestrian has been left with serious head injuries after a road collision on Sunday.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses following the collision between a grey Fiat Punto and the 19-year-old man victim on the V4 Watling Way, between Asda and H8 Standing Way, at about 8.20pm.

The injured man was airlifted by the Thames Valley Police helicopter to the John Radcliffe Hospital with head and chest injuries, where he remains.

Sergeant Julie Daglish, of the Roads Policing Unit, is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has information which could help the police inquiry, to call her on 0845 8 505 505.
