A trusting pensioner in her seventies has been the victim of a fraud in Coffee Hall.

At around 4.20pm last Monday a man in his twenties was seen knocking on doors in Daniels Welch asking for money to get back to Luton.

When he visited the woman he offered to clean her windows for £5. She refused but said he could have the £5 anyway, handing over £20 asking him to return with the change, however he never returned.

The man is white, 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build with a slight stammer. He was wearing a thin grey jacket, navy jeans and black and white trainers.

Witnesses can call police on 101.
