Pensioner sustains broken fingers and wrist during robbery in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a robbery in Bletchley on Friday evening.

Between 6pm and 6.30pm, the victim, a 74-year-old woman, was walking in the walkway between the rear of Wilkinsons and Stephenson House off Locke Road, close to Bletchley bus station.

She was pushed by someone from behind and fell to the floor.

The offender then stole her purse from her hand before running off towards the bus station.

The victim sustained three broken fingers and broken wrist and was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital for treatment.

The offender was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black skinny jeans and white Converse trainers.
