11 more Covid deaths recorded over past 24 hours at Milton Keynes hospital

Public Health England statistics show 11 Covid patients have died over the past 24 hours at MK hospital.

Yesterday (Monday) the government statistics showed 111 people had died of Covid at the hospital since the start of the pandemic,

This included seven people over the previous 10 days - the first Covid-linked deaths at the hospital since June.

Today the hospital's total Covid death toll stands at 122 - an increase of 18 just 11 days.

Earlier MKUH chief executive Joe Harrison announced rigid visiting restriction were again in force at the hospital to protect staff and patients. See Citizen story here.
