144 new Covid cases in 48 hours in Milton Keynes

The past two days have seen 144 new Covid cases confirmed in MK.

Yesterday (Tuesday) there were a record 133 cases confirmed, while today saw another 31.

This means there have now been 3,068 positive tests in MK since the beginning of the pandemic.

Happily, there have been no new deaths at MK hospital over the past 24 hours. However, the previous day, 11 deaths were recorded at the hospital.

Nationally there have been 529 deaths and 19,609 new cases. In hospitals over the UK there are 12,212 Covid patients in hospital.
