Covid-19 infections are continuing to peak in MK with 172 new cases in just two days over the weekend.

Sadly, one more Covid patient has died at MK hospital, making a total of seven deaths over the past 10 days.

Saturday saw 75 new cases in the city, while 97 more infections - the highest ever daily amount - were confirmed yesterday (Sunday).

So far, since the start of the pandemic, there have been 2,960 coronavirus cases in Milton Keynes.

The figures for the past 24 hours will be released later today.
