Another 29 people have tested positive for coronavirus over the past 24 hours in MK.

This is a marked decrease from yesterday, when 71 people have had positive tests.
The previous day (Tuesday) 65 new cases.
The city's total number of cases since the start of the pandemic now stands at 1,996.

Hide AdNational figures also showed a decrease, with 23,065 people in the UK testing positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
There have been 280 Covid-linked deaths nationally during the same period, and 10,308 patients are currently in hospital with the virus. Of these, 957 are currently in ventilator beds.
