68 new Covid cases and one hospital death recorded in Milton Keynes today

Another Covid patient has sadly died at Mk hospital while 68 new cases have been confirmed in MK today.

This compares to 70 cases yesterday (Wednesday), and brings the total to 3,992 since the start of the pandemic. The total number of deaths at the city's hospital now stands at 149 over the same period,

Overall the city's infection rate is dropping slightly compared to the last four weeks.

Nationally 14,879 people have tested positive today, an drop from 16,170 yesterday. Covid deaths have also dropped from 648 from 414 today.
