71 new Covid cases confirmed in Milton Keynes today

City's seven day infection rate continues to rise

As the number of new Covid cases reached 32,551 nationally today, 71 new infections were confirmed in Milton Keynes

This brings the local seven day case rate to 248.6 per 100,000 people, which is still below the UK average of 267.1.

Six Covid patients are now in MK hospital and one of them is requiring ventilation.
