And the biggest rise has not been with young people or schoolchildren but with the over 60s.
Council leader Pete Marland said: "Over the last week there has been a noticeable rise in cases in Milton Keynes, especially those over the age of 60. The growth in positive cases over the past few weeks is a cause for great concern."

Hide AdOver the past two weeks, 4,680 people have been tested for Covid-19 in Milton Keynes, with 454 testing positive.
The number of cases is MK now at 105 per 100,000 people. In comparison, neighbouring Luton has 164 cases per 100,000 people.
Since the start of the pandemic there have been 2,125 positive cases officially recorded.
Nationally, there were 23,254 cases yesterday (Sunday) and 162 deaths.
10,918 people are currently in hospital, with 978 of them in ventilator beds.
The figures for the past 24 hours will be released later today.
