A rare treat - Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime coming to theatre in Milton Keynes
A pantomime company is coming to Milton Keynes (oh yes it is!) for two weeks of performances of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Rare Pantomimes are bringing their twist on the classic tale to Stantonbury Theatre in the city from December 14 to 27.
Audiences are being promised laugh out loud comedy, spectacular songs and dazzling costumes during the show.
Jacob Birch, a 2024 musical theatre graduate, plays the role of Jack, while Thea Peach, appearing in her third Rare Theatre pantomime, stars as Jill.

The cast is completed by Jonny Brace as Silly Billy, James Nicholas as Dame Trott, Hugo Joss Catton as Fleshcreep and Kameron Campbell as Daisy.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £24.50 for adults, £19.50 for children and £80 for a family ticket, of two adults and two children.
Performances take place on December 14, between December 19 and 24, and conclude on December 27, with afternoon and evening shows available.
Tickets can be booked via the theatre’s website, or by calling its Box Office on 01908 324466.
Rare Pantomimes were formed in 2016, however Rare Productions Youth Company has had a presence in Milton Keynes since 2011.
More than one thousand students have worked with the company at its home at Stantonbury Theatre during that time.
