The picture was taken by award winning Milton Keynes photographer Sham Hussain as Boris Johnson announced his roadmap out of lockdown this week.

Sham, who runs Sham Hussain Photography , captured a solitary biker doing a wheelie at Willen Lake, with the Willen Observation Wheel (WOW) in the background.

The London Eye-style wheel is 36 metres high and offers stunning views across the lake and of the city beyond.

It opened on September 12 last year, but sadly had to close again less than three months later when MK entered Tier 4 regulations followed by lockdown.

The wheel, which is even wheelchair accessible, will re-open as soon as guidelines permit.

Photographer Sham said: "I took the photo as a symbol of hope as we approach the end of lockdown in MK."
