Beavers and Cubs launch virtual space adventure camp in Milton Keynes

More than 80 members of the Loughton Scout Group took part in the virtual Space camp, making rockets, telescopes and even parachutes to enable them to return to earth afterwards.
They even built their own solar systems to learn about the planets and help them towards their badges, including Space and Astronomer, Cooking and Nights Away

Once the youngsters reached the moon, they enjoyed a party up there with DJ Rikki.
Their Akela Shelly said: "We have all had a great weekend. It has been overwhelming seeing all the great rockets and also all the food was certainly making me hungry.
"We would like to thank all the families for helping us on this special mission. Also huge thanks to all the leaders and helpers that have made this weekend happen."
